Caitlin Mumme
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | PSYCHOSOCIAL THERAPIST
Caitlin is a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist with over 1.5 years of experience supporting individuals with neurodivergence, psychosocial conditions, and complex life transitions. She has worked closely with Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients, and young adolescents navigating key developmental milestones. While Caitlin’s passion lies in empowering adults with psychosocial health needs, she also brings her knowledge and care to paediatric sessions, supporting children and families to thrive.
Originally from Townsville, Caitlin is now enjoying life in Brisbane, where she loves exploring the city’s hidden gems, indulging her love for all things pink, and discovering brands like Somewhere Co (her go-to for cute lunch boxes). Her warmth, authenticity, and down-to-earth nature shine through in her sessions, helping clients feel safe, supported, and truly understood.
Caitlin completed her occupational therapy studies at [Insert University Name] and has undertaken ongoing professional development in areas such as trauma-informed care, psychosocial frameworks, and functional approaches to neurodivergence.
“My practice is guided by occupational therapy models such as the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO), the Person-Environment-Occupation (PEO) Framework, and Occupational Adaptation. I integrate these with evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and attachment-informed practices. I strive to support individuals to navigate transitions, build adaptive skills, and reconnect with their goals and values so they can live with greater purpose, resilience, and self-confidence.”
