Ebony Walters
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | SCAR + LYMPHEDEMA THERAPIST
Ebony is our senior occupational therapist who not only brings an extreme amount of knowledge and experience to her innovative sessions, but makes all of her clients feel at home with her open and genuine approach to sessions. Ebony has worked in the occupational therapy field since graduating from the University of Queensland, completing time in rural communities and then returning back to Brisbane to provide support to clients both in the paediatric + adult spaces of occupational therapy. Ebony has completed further training in scar and lymphedema for ongoing specialised support to her clients.
“In my work, my practice is grounded in occupational therapy core frameworks, including Developmental Theory, Sensory Integration, Play-Based and Strengths-Based approaches, and Attachment Theory. I also integrate principles from Person-Environment-Occupation (PEO) Framework, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care to ensure holistic support for each client. Within this integrated practice, my aim is always to empower clients to achieve their most meaningful goals for a life filled with purpose + passion.
