OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | PHYSICAL & PSYCHOSOCIAL

Julia Gorgievska

Julia is our Occupational Therapist known for her warm, approachable nature and genuine passion for supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. With over nine years of experience working with children in a swim school environment, she brings a unique, practical, and playful understanding of how children learn, engage, and build confidence. Julia has a strong interest in paediatrics, neurodivergence, and psychosocial wellbeing, and works from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming perspective to support clients in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.

Julia is developing a strong focus in assessment and reporting, with experience across NDIS, WorkCover, and private clients. She enjoys working across a broad age range, from paediatrics through to adults and aged care. She values the opportunity to support individuals at different stages of life. She is particularly passionate about delivering services that are practical, functional, and meaningful, helping clients build independence and confidence in their everyday environments.

Known for being kind, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to, Julia creates a therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable and supported from the very first interaction. She has a natural ability to build connection, making therapy engaging while still maintaining a clear focus on outcomes.

Originally from Melbourne, Julia has recently made the move to the Sunshine State and is embracing the lifestyle, enjoying travelling, exploring local events, and supporting regional Queensland communities through her work. She brings a light, positive energy to the team and is someone who always has a smile on her face (while also navigating the ongoing challenge of keeping her hair in check with the Queensland humidity).
