Tracey-Leigh Edwards

PRINCIPAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | PAEDIATRIC LEAD

Tracey is a passionate Occupational Therapist with almost ten years of experience supporting children, adults, and families across paediatric, mental health, brain injury, and aged care settings. She has worked with a diverse range of presentations including Autism, ADHD, ARFID, anxiety, low mood, eating challenges, physical disabilities, and cognitive challenges. Tracey is dedicated to helping each person reach their full potential in a way that feels safe, empowering, and deeply understood.
In her work with children and families, Tracey has a strong interest in understanding the “why” behind behaviour. She supports families to build on each child’s unique strengths through a neurodiversity-affirming and relationship-based approach. Tracey works collaboratively with caregivers to strengthen connection, develop practical skills, support emotional regulation, and navigate challenges together. Her sessions are compassionate, playful, and engaging, helping families feel confident, supported, and connected throughout their journey.
When supporting adults, Tracey takes a warm, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming approach grounded in both lived-experience perspectives and current research. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and move toward a life that feels meaningful, sustainable, and authentic to who they are. Whether someone is navigating burnout, overwhelm, identity, mental health challenges, or major life transitions, Tracey strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered to rediscover confidence, purpose, and the life they want to live.
Tracey is especially passionate about advocacy, strengths-based practice, parent education, connection-focused interventions, and sensory integration. She loves incorporating engaging, play-based strategies into her sessions and values creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can build skills, confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self.
Outside of work, Tracey enjoys Muay Thai, drawing, going to the gym, and playing the guitar.
