OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | PHYSICAL & PSYCHOSOCIAL
Alicia Kennedy
Alicia is an Occupational Therapist who completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at Bond University on the Gold Coast. Originally from the sunny coast, she has recently made the move to Brisbane, bringing with her a grounded, positive energy and a genuine passion for helping people engage more fully in the things that matter to them.
Alicia is deeply passionate about occupational therapy for its ability to support meaningful, real-life change. She is driven by the idea that therapy should be practical, person-centred, and connected to what is important to each individual. As she describes it, “anything that’s meaningful to you, I help you get there.” Alicia has a growing interest in both paediatrics and the psychological aspects of occupational therapy, and is particularly drawn to supporting emotional wellbeing, development, and functional engagement in everyday life. She is also continuing to deepen her knowledge in trauma-informed care, ensuring her approach remains safe, respectful, and responsive to each person’s experience.
Known for her calm and approachable nature, Alicia creates a supportive space where clients feel comfortable to explore challenges and build confidence. She brings creativity and curiosity into her work, allowing therapy to feel engaging while still focused on meaningful outcomes.
Outside of the clinic, Alicia enjoys spending time in the sun, walking by the ocean, and unwinding through creative outlets such as literature and art. She also has a love for athletics, skiing, travel, and experimenting in the kitchen, always happy to whip up something fun and new.
